Blackjack

The Blackjack views cover how a table is actually being played: how fast, and how the shoe is running.

The Blackjack view, showing hands and their outcomes

Pace of play

Pace measures rounds per hour and the time between them. It matters commercially — a slow table earns less — and operationally, because a change in pace usually has a cause.

Read pace relative to the table and the dealer, not as an absolute. Tables differ and games differ; what deserves attention is a dealer or a period unlike its neighbours.

Countdown trends follow the shoe through its deal. The pattern is the point: a shoe behaving unlike those around it is what you are looking for.

Both pace and trends export as CSV for analysis outside eConnect.

An outlier is a question

An unusual pace or trend has ordinary explanations far more often than interesting ones — a new dealer, a full table, an interrupted shoe, a table closing.

Take it to the video. The recording of the period settles in a minute what the figures can only suggest, and it clears people as often as it flags them.

Work beside the video

These views are most useful next to the camera covering the table, so you read the figures and watch the play together. Open the camera in a pop-out on a second monitor — see Working Across Monitors.
