Bet Sessions
A bet session follows one player through a period of play — what they bet, over how long, and how it developed.

Session or rating?
Where a rating is a summary, a session is the sequence. It holds the bets as they happened, so you can see how play changed rather than only what it came to.
Use ratings for value and comparison; use sessions when the question is about what happened during the play.
Sessions can be created from a table view directly, which is the usual route when something on the floor warrants closer attention.
Reading one
The useful readings are about change within the session:
| Pattern | Worth looking at |
|---|---|
| Bet size changing sharply | A shift in play, or in circumstances |
| Long gaps | A break, or play elsewhere |
| A session far longer than the player's norm | A good night, or something else |
Ratios and averages across the session put those changes in context, which is what stops an unusual moment being read as an unusual session.
Recording bets by hand
The bet recording grid behaves like a spreadsheet. Drag to select a rectangle of wager cells, copy it, and paste it elsewhere — into another block of cells, or out into a spreadsheet, where it arrives as ordinary tab-separated rows and columns. Pasting in walks down the rounds and across the bet locations from wherever you started, and anything that is not a number is entered as zero.
That is what makes correcting a mis-entered shoe practical: fix it once, copy the block, and paste it where it belongs rather than retyping cell by cell.
The grid saves as you work, and keystrokes typed while a save is in flight are kept rather than overwritten — so a fast entry run is not silently trimmed by its own auto-save.
From a session to the video
Sessions carry the table and the times, so they lead to the footage. That is how a pattern in the numbers becomes an account of what happened.

Sessions and appraisals
A session is usually what an appraisal is based on. Where you form a view about a player, record it — see Player Appraisal — rather than leaving it as something somebody remembers.
Requirements
Bet sessions depend on the corresponding capability being enabled. Where it is not, the view does not appear in the drawer.
