ID Scanning
ID Scanning is a kiosk-mode feature that lets a device capture a government-issued ID (driver's license, passport, etc.) and use the information on it to look up or enroll an identity.
This is typically used when a visitor arrives at a Face Verify kiosk with a yellow overlay — they step aside, present their ID to a security officer, and the scanner registers them in seconds.
