Installation Guide

This guide will walk you through the installation steps for the eConnect Genetec Security Center Integration. Please ensure you meet the software requirements and have the necessary details before proceeding.


📋 Prerequisites Checklist​

Before installation, confirm that your system meets the following requirements:

System Requirements​

  • ✅ Operating System: Windows 10+ 64-bit OS
  • ✅ Memory: Minimum 16 GB RAM
  • ✅ Administrative Access: Required for installation

Network Requirements​

  • ✅ Network Access: Genetec workstation must reach eConnect server on TCP Port 443
  • ✅ eConnect Server Details: DNS name or IP address of the eConnect server

🔧 Installation Steps​

Step 1: Download the Installer​

  1. Download the eConnect Genetec Security Center MSI from the provided link or contact support
  2. Ensure you have administrative privileges on the Genetec workstation

Step 2: Run the Installation​

  1. Right-click the downloaded MSI file and select "Run as administrator"
  2. Follow the installation wizard:
    • ✅ Accept the license agreement
    • ✅ Choose the installation directory (default recommended)
    • ✅ Wait for the installation to complete
